My Uprising was a project created to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising, aiming to educate the young generation that has little or no knowledge about its history. We asked students in secondary schools who their idols and heroes were, and then gave their role models the lead roles in the short films. So instead of actors, we have worked with Slovak celebrities such as professional tennis player Dominika Cibuľková/Marta, ex-NHL ice hockey star Miroslav Šatan/Zoltán, boxing champion Tomi Kid Kovács/Pavel, pop star Celeste Buckingham/Mária, rapper Majk Spirit/Milan and actor/comedian Lukáš Latinák/Ján.
